Airman Kyle C. David of Addis graduated from the United States Air Force Basic Military Training on Thursday, May 17, 2018.
He attended Brusly High School, where he went on to continue his education and to receive his diploma from Camp Minden in July of 2017. David started his career in the Air Force by signing a six-year contract.
Due to David excelling in his studies, he was able to attend Bossier City Community College during his time at Camp Minden, where he earned college credits. He also graduated in the top ten percent in academics while at Camp Minden. David is continuing his career by attending Security Forces Technical Training School, with an anticipated graduation date of Sept. 5, 2018.
David is a native of Addis and son of Nicki Passman and Christopher David. He has three siblings, older sister Kynlee, older brother Job, and younger brother Cole. He is the grandson of Michael and Maureen David of Zachary, and Jackie Granger of Plaquemine.
His support system includes girlfriend Gracie Romero, Stepdad, Issac “Ray” Passman, Ronald Slayton Jr., and James and Tammie Romero.
“We wish Kyle C. David the best of luck in his career of supporting the great country that we live in. Less than one percent of the United States citizens of America pursues a career in the military. We thank him so much for all that he will do and accomplish. We thank all who have retired and are still active as Airman David follows in their footsteps,” David’s mother, Nicki Passman, said.
