Sharon Baptist Church Vacation Bible School
Wouldn’t it be great to travel back in time? That’s the theme of this summer’s camp: Time Lab. Campers will “travel” back in time to experience life in ancient cultures.
Campers will meet inventers making discoveries that changed the world.
Campers will also meet a man who was not just a man, but also God!

June 11-15 The St. Alma Baptist Church will host the 2018 Vacation Bible School for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This year’s curriculum is GodSquad: Special Agents in Action.” The theme verse is I Peter 2:9. Persons with transportation needs are asked to call the church office and leave their name and address.

November 17 The annual WBR Library Art Show will return this fall on Saturday, November 17th. The Art Show is open to artists in the Tri-Parish area, ages 15 and up. Work will be due to the library by Friday, October 26th. Beginning in September, the West Baton Rouge Museum will be offering monthly training on various topics. Healing Hearts GriefShare grief recovery seminar and support group meets at Church at Addis in Addis each Thursday evening at 6:30. The church is located at 6781 LA Highway 1 South, Addis, LA 70710. Meetings are held in the Club 456 room.

Recovery Support at Addis is a support group meeting where men and women share their experience, strength, and hope in order to gain recovery from their common struggles. Whether alcoholism, drug addiction, gambling, overeating, or other addictions, you can overcome the fight. Meetings are Sundays at 4 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Addis, 6781 LA Hwy 1, Addis 70710. WBR Parish Council meets every second and fourth Thursday of the month at 5:30 p.m. at the Parish Council Building in Port Allen.

WBR School Board meets each third Wednesday of the month at 5 p.m. at the School Board Office in Port Allen

Town of Addis Council meets the first Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Addis Town Hall.

Town of Brusly Council meets on the second Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Brusly Town Hall.

City of Port Allen Council meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the Port Allen City Hall.

Port Allen Neighborhood Watch meetings are held the last Monday of each month at 6 p.m. on the third floor of Port Allen City Hall, inside the council room. Meetings are open to all.
