January 31 The West Baton Rouge Council on Aging has partnered with Medicare Councelors to help low income Medicare beneficiaries apply for programs that make Medicare affordable. Through February 6 Immaculate Conception Preschool Learning Center in Lakeland is accepting applications for the 2018-2019 school year. Applications must be received by 2:00pm Feb. 6, 2018.The program offers a “hands-on”, age appropriate pre-k curriculum for children ages 3, 4 and 5. Program hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30am-2:00pm. Children must turn 3 years of age before December 31, 2018 to be eligible to enroll.
