West Baton Rouge Museum
The West Baton Rouge Museum will hold its annual Holiday Open House on Sunday, Dec. 3, from 2 – 5 p.m. complete with live performances, refreshments, ornament making, and more. In addition to being open for tours, the museum will welcome guests with warm cider and gingerbread in celebration of the season.
The museum, decorated for the season, makes the perfect backdrop for a visit from Papa Noel (and a perfect holiday photo op) Children will enjoy making holiday crafts, storytelling, and everyone’s favorite campus wide “Find the Elves” scavenger hunt.
Visitors will also enjoy local choirs singing holiday music and special entertainment, live performances by Lil Jimmy Reed and James Linden Hogg. The performance is sponsored in part by Manship Theatre and Union Pacific Railroad.
