WBR’s Reflections of the Season wins top Southeast Tourism award

The West Baton Rouge Convention & Visitors Bureau recently announced that "Reflections of the Season" has been selected as of the Southeast Tourism Society's Top 20 Events for the month of December 2014.

"The Southeast Tourism Society Top 20 Events publication receives extensive exposure in print media, web, television and radio in the U. S. and Canada, said Sharon Stam, Executive Director of the West Baton Rouge CVB. "Over 1600 newspapers, magazines, radio & television stations, AAA's and others receive the listings, " Stam added.

The Top 20 Events are listed on the Southeast Tourism Society website and on their consumer web site

The Top 20 events pages are consistently among the most visited pages on the STS sites.

"Reflections of the Season" was started in 2009 and has been expanding each year and welcomes more visitors every season. This event is the only drive / walk through Christmas event in the Capital Region.   It opens to the public on December 6 in 2014. A variety of activities are included in this 14 day event each December.   Ice Fishing, Snow nights, Wagon rides, Santa Claus, Crafters and this year, more lights and carnival rides for children will be added.

The Holiday Season display will be open Thursday - Sunday each week with special additional nights for Christmas week.   More details will be available on the West Baton Rouge CVB web site at   The West Baton Rouge CVB is already accepting applications for crafters, sponsors and volunteers.
