WBR School Board recognizes employees

The West Baton Rouge School Board had an evening full of recognitions on Wednesday, September 18.

After special recognition of Lauren O’Brien (Brusly Elementary Pre-K teacher), Anne McConnell (Port Allen Middle School teacher) and Bambi Boudreaux (Brusly High School teacher)

for being the 2013-2014 West Baton Rouge Parish’s teachers of the year for elementary, middle and high schools, respectively, the board recognized and allowed principals to introduce the parish schools’ new teachers for the 2013-2014 school year.

The following is a list of all of the new teachers in the school system:

The board also recognized each of the teachers and support staff employees in each school who had perfect attendance throughout the 2012-2013 school year. The teachers each received $500 and support employees received $400 from the board for their dedication to the education of WBR students.
