Ruth Aguillard Treuil

Ruth Aguillard Treuil, a native of Innis and resident of Port Allen, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014 at Pointe Coupee Healthcare.

She was 87 and a homemaker. Visiting was at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Brusly on Tuesday, Feb. 4 from 9:30 until service at 10:30 a.m., conducted by Rev. Father Than Vu. Interment in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery. She is survived by her two daughters, Wanda Firmin and husband Paul of New Roads & Judy Montague and husband Bret of Baton Rouge; one sister, Ruby Allain of Brusly; one brother, Marshall Aguillard of New Roads; six grandchildren, Tracie, Rhonda, Mike, Paul Jr., Bret & Treuil; ten great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and sisters in law, "Sugar Boo" Aguillard of Port Allen & Juanita Aguillard of New Roads. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer "Willie" Treuil; Parents, Morris and Blanche Andre Aguillard; Daughter, Cecilia Pauline "Nookie" McLin; Sister, Sallie Aguillard; and Brother, Morris Aguillard, Jr. Pallbearers will be her Grandsons. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital . Arrangements with Wilbert Funeral Home of Port Allen.
