Travis, Norma "Norma Jean" LeBeouf, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother died at 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 25, 2014 at her home in Jackson, LA.

She was 72 years old, born in Eunice, LA and graduated from Eunice High School. She worked in many state hospitals as a buyer/purchasing agent retiring from Louisiana State Department of Health and Hospitals. Visitation was Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc., Clinton from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visitation continued on Friday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Jackson from 9:00 am until Rite of Christian Burial at 11:00 am with a 10:00 am rosary. Burial was at Second Baptist Church Cemetery. She is survived by her beloved husband of 54 1/2 years, John D. Travis, former State Representative of 62nd District, daughters, Sandra L. Allen and husband Mitch of Lake Rosemound, and Saraphia L. Wilson and husband Josh of Denham Springs, Sister, JoAnn Lightfoot and husband Royce of Eunice, brothers, Kenneth Pitre and wife Sandra of Port Allen and Gerald Pitre and wife Cathy of Salt Lake City, UT, grandchildren, Heather Allen Watson, Heath Michael Allen and Travis Anthony Allen, and great grandchildren, Madeline Elise Watson, Kody Eric Watson, Jayden Michael Allen, Maci Elizabeth Watson and Paisley Grace Allen. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Pitre, mother, Jennie Pitre and her sister, Diana Miller. Pallbearers will be Jeff Travis, Johnathan Travis, JoAnn Lightfoot, Timmy Travis, Heath Allen, Greg Travis, Darrell Watson, Kenny Havard and Travis Allen. Special thanks to the following: Pennington Cancer Center, Dr. Millitello and staff, Dr. Love and his staff, Tammy, Diana, Acadian Ambulance, Solace Equipment, Baton Rouge Hospice and their beautiful , kind nurses, Dr. Patti Hayden, Dr. Chaillie Daniel, Kevin and Rhonda Tomb, her Eunice high school classmates that supported her throughout treatments, her very special neighbors Guynell Carr, Dru Davidson, Mary Louise Bankston , Darrell Vannoy and many other friends and family to numerous to name.
