Edith Langlois Flatau

Edith passed away at her residence on Sunday, April 6, 2014. She was 86 and a native and resident of Plaquemine.

She was a bookkeeper at Wilbert Funeral Home for many years. Visitation was at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Plaquemine on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am celebrated by Msgr. Earl Gauthreaux. Entombment in Grace Memorial Park. She is survived by a daughter Kay Flatau and Walter Simmons; two sons Edison P. "Ed" Flatau III and wife Amy, and Randy Flatau and wife Theresa; granddaughter Nicole Thompson and husband Delbert; four grandsons Eric Flatau and wife Kim, Chene Flatau and Annie Comeaux, Stan Hebert and wife Michele and Beau Flatau and wife Nyla; ten great grandchildren Christopher and Lauren Flatau, CeAnna and Cyla Flatau, Caleb and Sydney Hebert, Beau Ryan II and Jake Ryan Flatau, Hayley and Jillian Thompson. Preceded in death by husband Edison P. Flatau, Jr., son Michael C. Flatau; parents Joseph Langlois and Josephine Chriss Langlois; brothers Gerald, Joe and Floyd Langlois.
