Robert Louis Wilson

Written by Cole Williams on . Posted in Obituaries

Robert Louis Wilson was born 4/7/1941 to Sidney Wilson and Clara Machyou in Port Allen, LA.

In 2000 Robert moved to Golden Age Nursing Home in Denham Springs. Through the years he made many friends there who mourn his death. He had an infectious laugh and a big smile. Two of his favorite things were McDonald's fish sandwich and Popeye's chicken. These made him smile. For years he followed the Saints and LSU football and loved to wear his Saints and LSU clothes. There were so many who were important in Robert's life–too many to name–but must single out three who have done so much: James Pitts, Liz Williams and Jewell Whitehead. They were true friends and his "family." A special thank you to everyone at Golden Age who treated Robert with such respect and kindness. Arrangements are by Hall Davis & Son Funeral Home, 1160 Louisiana Ave. Port Allen. Viewing was Tuesday April 15th 10:00 - 11:00 AM followed by services at 11:00 AM conducted by Rev. Jerry Dearman. Burial followed at Lady of Knight Cemetery in Port Allen. Rest in peace Robert! We will miss you.
