A native of Maringouin and resident of Baton Rouge passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at home with his loved ones.
He was 93, a retired Pastor of Temple of God Full Gospel Ministries and a World War II veteran with multiple honors under the Army Corp. Visiting was at Wilson-Wooddale Funeral Home on Monday, May 12 from 4-6 p.m. Religious service were held at New Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Port Allen on Tuesday, May 13 at 11 am, conducted by Dr. Michael Byrd. Interment in Port Hudson National Cemetery. Repast at New Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Bell Anderson; three daughters, Debbie (Carl) Jackson of Addis, Victoria (Tyrone) Anderson-Butler of St. Gabriel and Megan Anderson of Baton Rouge; one grandchild, Alyssa Anderson; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louise Monroe and Eli Anderson, Sr.; son, Anthony Craig Causey; brother, Charlie Anderson; and sister, Beatrice Anderson.
