Merlin Tullier

A loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend, M.J. passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center at the age of 73.

He is a retired Senior Designer from Kaiser Aluminum, a resident of Brusly and a native of Addis, La. Visiting was at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine on Sunday, June 1, 2014 from 5 to 9pm and resumed on Monday, June 2, 2014 from 11am until Rite of Christian Burial at 2pm, conducted by Father Matt Lorrain. Burial was at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery, Brusly. He is survived by his wife of 34 years Judy Tullier; daughters, Sheila Doucet and husband Craig, Karen Tullier and Janet "Toonie" Aillet; son, Tim Tullier and wife Joni; stepson, Troy Reeves; grandchildren, Lacey Straub, Maddie and Adam Doucet, Spencer Aillet, Tiffany Scott Tullier, Zane Hebert, Jaci and Breaynn Tullier; great grandchildren, Andie Kate Hebert and one on the way; sisters, Lona Belle Parker and Laura Mae Murry; and brother, Raymond Tullier. Preceded in death by parents, Merlin and Elsie Roger Tullier. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, family and friends. He was a sweet and supportive husband and father who loved his wife, children, grandchildren and family. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
