A Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Friend died on Sunday morning, July 6, 2014 in her home.
Her Family and Friends were with her at the moment she was taken from above. She retired as a human resource manager with the Louisiana Workforce Commission. She was 60 and a resident and native of Port Allen. Visiting was at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Brusly on Tuesday, July 8, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and again on Wednesday, July 9 from 9:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. celebrated by Father Matt Lorrain along with Monsignor Robert H. Berggreen. Entombment and Final Resting Place in St. John Cemetery Mausoleum beside her Daddy and Mama. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, David Allen Sellers; two daughters Tessa Michelle Sellers Robinson and husband Michael of Port Allen, Tracy Lynn Sellers and fiancée Josh Ankeny of Slidell; one son Ty Joseph Sellers; two brothers Brian Paul "Wiggle" Doiron and wife Theresa of Bueche, Kenny James Doiron and partner Shan Allen Couvillion of Lafayette; two granddaughters Corinne Alexis and Olivia Nicole; one grandson Broc Christian; one brother-in-law Barry Sellers and wife Susan of Plaquemine; nephews and nieces Shaun Doiron and wife Amber, Ashley Crousillac and husband Mitch, Chad Doiron and wife Ashley, Melissa Kilcrease and husband Clay, Brandy Doiron; sister-in-law Linda Sellers and niece Lee Ann Sellers; great-nephews and great-nieces Alissa, Chloe, Callie, Conner, Emily, and Liam; numerous cousins including two special Sister-cousins Lorrie Allain Simpson and Suzie Doiron Shilling; one daughter pup Coco; and four nephew pups Maxwell Francis, Collin Lloyd, Riley Joseph, and Barkley Baxter. Preceded in death by parents Joseph "Donald" Doiron and Edna Mae "Beanie" Richard Doiron; paternal grandparents Pierre Emile Doiron and Pearl Pitre Doiron; maternal grandparents Charles Agustus Richard and Oneilda "Dada" Tullier Richard; mother-in-law Jesse Sellers Amond and fathers-in-law Robert "Buddy" Sellers and Robert "Pops" Amond; numerous aunts and uncles with a special remembrance of Dee Dee Richard Allain and Joseph Vernon "Nunny" Doiron; and forever loved pets Rusty, Smokey, Pepper, and nephew pup Baxter Westley. Pallbearers will be Shaun Doiron, Chad Doiron, Greg Gibson, Andy Matherne, Mark Regira, and Jody Eschette. Honorary Pallbearers are Michael Robinson, Josh Ankeny, Clay Kilcrease, and Mitch Crousillac. A special "Thank You" goes out to all who have joined in helping Rhonda's Family during her Recent Life Journey. These two Ladies and Rhonda were inseparable and shared LIFE as only the Bond of Sisterhood allows; Chad Doiron, her nephew and Godson, who lovingly laid new tile in her master bathroom for Rhonda's return home after her surgery; Dana Griffith who was her taxi and companion on her treatment days; Rene' Regira who made sure that Rhonda made it home to clean house; Greg Gibson who without delay lead the charge and made sure that Rhonda's cherished yard was meticulously manicured upon her return home. A "Heartfelt Thank You of Love" goes forth to Annette Gibson who selflessly with love guided our Family through the Journey of Life. Rhonda touched so many in her short life.
