On Sunday, July 27, 2014 Buck Alleman left the embrace of the arms of his loving family and went into the arms of our Lord

He loved his faith, family and friends. This wonderful kind gentle man left behind his loving wife of 50 years Kay Knotts Alleman; his five wonderful children Rhonda Alleman, Alison Conner and husband Ron, Patty Alleman and husband Ivan, Todd Alleman and wife Sheri, Angie Roger and husband Ivy; six grandchildren Alec, Cody, Kristen Conner, Reed and Peyton Alleman, Victor Roger; sister Gwen Landry and husband Raymond. What a friend he was to all who knew him. A resident of Brusly, former resident of Port Allen for 42 years and native of White Castle, he passed away at Baton Rouge General Medical Center on Sunday, July 27, 2014, he was 77 years old and a retired butcher with A&P Food Stores and employee of West Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office. Visitation was at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Brusly on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 from 5pm until 8pm and again on Wednesday, July 30, from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon, celebrated by Rev. Matt Lorrain. Entombment in the Church Mausoleum. Pallbearers were Ron, Alec and Cody Conner, Mike Marchand, Ivan Velez, Dean Mayers and Mike Cazes. Honorary pallbearer was David Coleman. Preceded in death by his mother Mae Alleman. He was a member West Baton Rouge Sheriff's Posse, former member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Port Allen and currently a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Brusly.
