An employee of Grosse Tete Well Service, he died at 7:25 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, near Fordoche as the result of an automobile accident. He was 45, a native of Livonia and resident of Krotz Springs.
Visiting was at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Livonia on Tuesday, Jan. 8, from 8 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Interment in St. Francis Cabrini Cemetery. Webre Jr. of Krotz Springs; four stepsons; three sisters, Rebecca "Becky" Valencia and husband Alex of Maringouin, Amanda Poche Brooks and Willie Brooks Jr. of Erwinville, Gwen Poche McClinton of Palestine, Texas; four brothers, Joseph Wesley Webre Jr. and Edie Taylor of Carthage, Texas, Joseph Poche III and wife Lanora of Baton Rouge, David Poche of Walker, and Kendall Poche of Walker; grandchild, Allie Reese Webre; Godfather, Donald Chenevert Sr. of Livonia; Godchild, Ciara Aucoin, a stepgrandchild; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Joseph Wesley Webre Sr., maternal grandfather, Joseph Alvin Chenevert Sr., paternal grandparents, Rowena and Lawrence Webre Sr., godmother, Sally Fabre Chenevert, uncles, J.A.
