Dudley Noel Landry Sr.

Dudley passed away at his home in Port Allen on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 8:45 p.m. at the age of 81.

He is a native of White Castle and National Guard Veteran. Dudley was a retired funeral director with 40 years of service at Wilbert Funeral Home. Visiting was at Wilbert Funeral Home in Port Allen on Sunday, Jan 20, from 5 to 8 p.m. and again on Monday, Jan 21, from 9 to 11:40 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at noon at Holy Family Catholic Church, celebrated by Rev. David Allen and Rev. Joe Camilleri. Burial in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery in Brusly. Dudley is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ann LeBlanc Landry of Port Allen, three daughters and spouses, Marlene and Frankie Benedetto, Lennette and Charles Lasseigne all of Port Allen, Laura ""Lolly"" and Mark Bond of Baton Rouge, two sons and spouse, Dudley N. ""Bo"" Landry Jr. and Robert Paul ""Bobby"" Landry and Rhonda Thornell, all of Port Allen; six grandchildren, Cassandra Allain and husband James Eddie, Derek Benedetto and wife Farrah, Chad Lasseigne and wife Roxanne, Cory Lasseigne and wife Ashley, Chris Landry, and Chelsea Angelle; 7 great grandchildren, Jessica, Victoria, Christina, Allaire, George, Caitlyn and Brock. Dudley is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Josephine diGiovianni Landry; 3 brothers and 1 sister. Special thanks to St. Joseph's Hospice, Dr. Ruben Fabrega and staff, and Susan and Lowanda at Infusion at Oschners. Pallbearers were grandsons.
