I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. An employee of McDonalds in Plaquemine for five years, she died at 12:38 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge.
She was 51 and a resident and native of Plaqumine. Tracie donated her body to science. Survived by her husband, Danny LeJeune of Livonia; mother, Mathilda "Teeny" Granger Brown of Plaquemine; daughter, Jessica Marie Morin and boyfriend Damian Kimble of Livonia; stepdaughter, Joni Hernandez and husband Rodney of Maringouin; sister, Sabra Brown Martinez and husband Raymond of Plaquemine; brother Brandon Brown and wife Janet of Port Allen; two grandchildren, Macie Kathleen and Bracely Renee Morin of Livonia; step granddaughter, Ainsley Ray of Maringouin; her dog, Rudolph "Tootsie"; niece, Angie Brown King of Baton Rouge; and two nephews, Jonathan Brown of Baton Rouge and Jarred Brown of Fort Worth, Texas; and great-nephew, R.J. King of Baton Rouge. Preceded in death by her father, Emmett "Curley" Brown. Special thanks to nurses, Susan Jones in the MICU and Tianisha Benoit in the Critical Care Unit at Our Lady of the Lake.
