A native of Brusly, La. and resident of New Orleans, he died Friday, April 12, 2013.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had been awarded the Purple Heart. Visiting was at Union Baptist Church, Brusly, on Monday, April 22, 2013 from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. conducted by Rev. Gerald Brown. Interment in Louisiana National Cemetery, Zachary. Survivors include his wife, Croscina D. Crockett; daughters, Theresita Augustine (Byron) and Monica Crockett; son, Nolen J. Crockett, Jr. (Kathleen); sister, Eloise Brown; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Preceded in death by her parents and 8 siblings. Arrangements with Hall Davis & Son.
