A resident of Morganza and native of Geneva, IL. She passed away at 11:40 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2013 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge at the age of 87.
Visiting was at Wilbert Funeral Home in Port Allen on Thursday, April 25, 12 p.m. until Rite of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. conducted by Rev. Sammy Collura. Entombment followed in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Mausoleum in Brusly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herd Joseph LeBlanc; parents, Herman Carl and Emma Peterson Uberle; sisters, Bette Uberle Petrosa and Gyneth Uberle Green; and in-laws, Clarence G. and Cordelia L. LeBlanc, Lester S. LeBlanc Sr., Felix LeBlanc, and Dolores L. Baggett. Doris is survived by Steven and Linda Petrosa and JoAnn and Nicole Pikula, nephew and nieces of Geneva, IL; 5 brothers-in-law and spouses, Clarence J. and Martha LeBlanc, Columbus, MS, Jesse J. and Martha E. LeBlanc and Russell J. Riette B. LeBlanc, all of Brusly, Cleveland J. and Jo LeBlanc, Baton Rouge, Michael J. and Betty A. LeBlanc, Maringouin; 2 sisters-in-law, Glenda D. LeBlanc and Martha H. LeBlanc; 1 brother-in-law and spouse John and Gloria Baggett; and numerous nieces and nephews.
