A native of Plaquemine and a resident of Addis, she died at 5:26am Friday, May 10, 2013 at Baton Rouge General Medical Center – Bluebonnet.

She was 76.Visitation at Roscoe Mortuary from 1p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Viewing at Mt. Zion BC II-Inner City, Plaquemine on Friday, May 17, 2013 from 4p.m. to 7p.m. Religious services Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 11:00am conducted by Rev. Ricardo L. Handy, Sr., Pastor. Internment at Grace Memorial. She leaves to cherish her memories four daughters; Beverly Georgetown (Ronald), Diana Davis (Tony), Sharmain Georgetown (Robert) and Gaynell G. Phillips. Six sons; Gregory (Denise) Skidmore, Sr., Everett (Tanya) Skidmore, Sr., Elliott Georgetown (Denita), Patrick Georgetown, Sr. (Cheryln), Lyndon (Renee) Georgetown, Sr. and Keith (DeeShonda) Georgetown. Three Sisters; Ruth Georgetown Anderson, Clora Georgetown Walters and Evelyn Georgetown Pugh. One Brother-in-Law; Leroy Christophe, Sr. 32 Grandchildren of which three raised as her children; Paul (Maria) Davis, LaKeitha Georgetown (Raregus) and Zachary Georgetown (Alicia). 16 Great-Grandchildren. Two God Children; Kendra Randall and Jared Dunmars and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Osborne and Clora Georgetown, Son; Zachary Georgetown, Sisters; Laura Georgetown and Alnita Georgetown Christophe, Brother; William Georgetown.
