A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she passed away at 4:58 a.m. Monday, June 3, 2013, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center.

She was 61, a cashier at River Queen, resident of Port Allen and native of Plaquemine. Visiting was at Wilbert Funeral Home, Port Allen, on Tuesday, June 4, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, June 5, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Jimmy Womack. Interment in Erwinville Baptist Church Cemetery. Survived by her husband of 37 years, Jimmy King Sr.; four daughters, Robin Revero, Sandy Giep and husband Mark, Penny King and Shondell Ardoin; two sons, Jimmy King Jr. and Troy King; four sisters, Violet Teekel, Audrey Stoute, Lois David and Margaret Moore; two brothers, Sidney Persilver and Henry Budd; 11 grandchildren, Angel Junker, Travis James King, Lil' Mark Giep Jr., Christopher Giep, Jennie Dupont, Austin Collins, Brandon King, Megan Blankinburg, Breanna Rayborn, Trey Ardoin and Harley King; six great-grandchildren, Kaylin, Carson, Jay, Preslie, Eli and Eden; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father, Eugene Persilver Sr.; mother, Cora Belle Brown Budd; sister, Hilda Weber; brothers, Eugene Jr., Harvey and Charles Persilver; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Hazel and Wallace King. Pallbearers will be Travis and Jimmy Jr. King, Lil' Mark and Christopher Giep, Nickey Stoute and Austin Collins. Honorary pallbearers are Henry Budd and Sidney Persilver.
