Frances Clatworthy Fay Richard

A retired aid on a special needs school bus with West Baton Rouge Parish, Fay passed away on July 2, 2013 at her home in Brusly at 2:14 a.m. at the age of 73.

She was a native of Exeter, England. She was known as "Aunt Fay" by many who loved her. Visiting was at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Brusly on Friday, July 5, 2013, from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon, celebrated by Rev. Matt Lorrain. Entombment followed in the church mausoleum. She is survived by her son, Shane Richard and wife Mary Richmond Richard, Zachary; three sisters, Carol Baham and husband Phillip Thomas, Marie "Mimi" Richard and husband Ronald, Lorraine "Tootsie" Comeaux and husband Myron "Mackie" Jr.; one brother, Clifton "Junior" Hebert and wife Aline; brother-in-law, Carl Richard; three step grandchildren, Jennifer Hood, Cassie Lasley, Joseph "Buddie" David; four step great grandchildren, McKenzie Hood, Kinley Hood, Kayleigh Lasley and Kyleigh Lasley. Fay is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Larry Joseph Richard; her parents, William "Bill" Clatworthy and Evelyn Clarke Clatworthy Hebert; step-father, Clifton Paul Hebert; sister, Janet Boyd and husband Earl; and brother-in-law, Roland Richard and wife Carolyn "Boot." Pallbearers will be Kris Richard, Ronald "Peanut" Richard, Jr., Scott Richard, Joseph "Buddie" David, Blake Richard, Austin Horton, Gary Sanders and Nick Roppolo. Honorary pallbearers were Cliff Richard, Harry Richard, Rhett Hebert, Butch Baham and Jamie Kiper. Special thanks to Comfort Care Hospice, especially Liz Spencer, Kelly Gourgues, and Becky Boudreaux.
