A cashier at Dickie's Sportsman and resident of Addis, she died at 4:50 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2013, at home.
She was 59 and a native of Pierre Part. Visiting was at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Brusly, on Tuesday, July 9, from 3 p.m. until religious service at 6 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Matthew P. Lorrain. Survived by her husband, Lyman "Butch" LeRay; mother-in-law, Mary Brown; daughters, Stephanie Lambert, Ashley Martin and Adrienne LeRay; sons, Jamie Martin, Robert Landry, Derick Martin, Brent LeRay and Brad LeRay; brothers, Leonard Landry, Alvin Landry, Dalton Landry and Johnny Landry; 14 grandchildren and many other stepchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Nary and Theresa Landry; brothers, Ulysses, Albert, Nalton and Willie Landry; sister, Jeanie Landry; and stepson, Michael Martin. Pallbearers will be Leonard, Alvin, Dalton and Johnny Landry. She had a love for swamp pop music, boiled seafood, dancing, and most of all, she loved her family. Her big smile lit up any room.
