A native of Wyoming, IL and a resident of Port Allen, he passed away Friday afternoon July 19, 2013 doing what he loved to do…fishing in Bayou Pigeon.

He was 69 and a retired Truck Driver & Mechanic for Martin Brower. Visiting was at Wilbert Funeral Home, Port Allen on Tuesday, July 23 from 10 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by Rev. Father David Allen. Interment in Grace Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jan King; two sons, Shannon Lee King and William Arthur King & wife Roxanne; one grandchild, Catherine Elise King; and cousin, Mike King. He was preceded in death by his parents, Artie & Mona King; Uncle & Aunt: Kenneth & Frances King; Cousin Vaughn King. He was a graduate of Kewanee High School & loved to fish.
