Kevin Gerard Hebert passed away Friday, August 23, 2013 at the age of 53 after losing a battle with cancer.
A resident of Temple Texas, he was born on September 3, 1959, and was a native of Brusly, La. He attended Holy Family Catholic Elementary School, St. John Catholic High School, and graduated from LSU with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Graphics Design. He is survived by sister Stacey Hebert Roussel and husband Jay, Baton Rouge, brother Jeffrey Hebert and wife Mona of Prairieville, nieces and nephews Stephen Martinez, Natalie Roussel, Alex and wife Kelly Hebert, Austin Hebert, grand-niece Reese Hebert, and grand-nephew, Grahm Hebert. He was preceded in death by his sister Carol Hebert, parents Clifford and Marilyn Landry Hebert, grandparents John Landry and Marguerite Heck Landry, Clifford and Theresa Dupuy Hebert, step grandmother Ezora Chauvin Landry, and numerous aunts and uncles. Prior to his death, Kevin served as the Director of Internal Branding and Communications at Scott & White Healthcare System. Throughout his career, he served on numerous boards and committees, and is remembered for chairing Baton Rouge's FestForAll. His creativity, upbeat personality, artistic talents, and generosity became the cornerstone of countless friendships and memorable encounters throughout his life. His personality could instantly fill a room with love and humor and he'll be greatly missed by his family, friends, and those who had the honor of knowing him. Burial services were conducted in private at St. John the Baptist Church in Brusly for close family members. The family appreciates the condolences and kind words of remembrance from people who knew him, and kindly request that donations be made in Kevin's memory to the American Cancer Society .
