Louis was 85 years old. A native of White Castle, Louisiana and a resident of Plaquemine, Louisiana. He retired from Dow Chemical USA where he was a laborer. He then filled his time as a mechanic. Numerous grandchildren, great, great-great; two close friends Elnora Dotey, Ponchatoula, La., and Tommy Pugh of Plaq., La and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruby C. Nicholas, son Willie James Nicholas, daughters Brenda Plant and RaShonda Nicholas; grandchild, Daphne Allen: parents, Clara and Rev. Louis Nicholas, Sr.: three sisters, Victoria Johnson, Pearl Mae Parker and Ida Colbert: five brothers: Ernest Lewis, Andrew Lewis, Allen Richardson, Sr. Morris Anderson, Sr. and James Nicholas.
