Iris Geneva Wilson Langlois, 98, native of Port Allen, La. and resident of Magnolia Assisted Living Gonzales, La.

She passed away at 6pm, Monday, October 7, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Gonzales, La. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched. She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother to all. She was active in the West Baton Rouge Garden Club, West Baton Rouge Historical Society, and president of Ikebana Club, member of the West Side Women's Society, and a Eucharistic Minister with Holy Family Catholic Church, Port Allen. She is preceded in death by Allie Anthony Langlois, her husband for 47 years; her father and mother, Theodore Wilson and Alice McKay Wilson; sisters and brothers, Stella Cain, Louella Tucker, Mami Wilson, M. D. Wilson, Myrtle Sasser, and Weiss Wilson. She is survived by her daughter, Alice Langlois and life partner Maureen Duhon, Maureen's children, Rick Vallet, Jr. and Krystal Brignac; her son, George Troy Langlois and wife Marla Langlois; grandson, Christopher Langlois and wife Joy Langlois; their children, Brendan, Baylor and Cole; granddaughter, Emily Langlois; her children, Zachary Langlois Pedigo and Hannah Pedigo; granddaughter, Rebecca Roubique and husband Michael Roubique; their children, Bryce Schexnayder, Caulin Roubique, and Michael Joseph Roubique, Jr. Visiting was held Friday, October 11, 2013 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Port Allen from 9:00AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am, celebrated by Father David Allen. Entombment St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery, Brusly, La. Pallbearers were, Christopher Langlois, Brendan Langlois, Larry Langlois, Ted Langlois, John L. Guidroz, Zachary Langlois Pedigo, Michael Roubique and Barney "Frog" Altazin. Honorary Pallbearers were Baylor Langlois, Cole Langlois, Bryce Schexnayder and Caulin Roubique. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Masses. A tremendous thanks to Magnolia Assisted Living for their support and love they had for Hun. Thanks Magnolia Staff and residents. Thanks to St. Elizabeth Hospital Staff in the Telemetry ward for their loving care. God Bless all.
