Mary Hebert "Louise" Wilson

Louise passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Friday, October 18, 2013 at the age 72.

She was a resident of Port Allen and a native of Addis, La. Visiting was at Wilbert Funeral Home, Port Allen on Monday, October 21, 2013 from 5 to 9pm and resumed on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from 9am until religious services at 12pm, conducted by Rev. Michael Hebert. Interment in Louisiana National Cemetery, Zachary. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Vincent "Whip" Wilson; daughters, Amanda Boxx and husband Donald, Darla Gilbert and Angie Marino and husband Troy; sons, Darrel Wilson and wife Rehia, Audie Wilson and wife Jenna, and Duane Wilson; sisters, Patricia Durbin, Janet Hebert, and Gaye Anderson; brother, Rev. Michael Hebert; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, Milton, Sr. "Boo" and Geraldine Foret Hebert; brothers, M.J. Hebert, Jr. and Paul Curtis Hebert. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend who enjoyed traveling and listening to swamp pop and Christian music but above all she was a devoted Christian woman who lived every day for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Special thanks to Dr. Spell, Dr. Levine, Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center and staff, The Hospice of Baton Rouge, her nurses Christy Munozcano, Pauline Engloio, Kim Gilmore, Hope Hines and Valerie Camper. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center.
