Shelton J. "Pontan" LeJeune

He passed away on Sunday, Dec 22, 2013 at 7:25 a.m. at Nottingham Regional Rehab Center in Baton Rouge.

He was a native of Brusly and a resident of Grosse Tete and retired truck driver. Visiting was on Thursday, Dec. 26th at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Brusly from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial followed in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in Grosse Tete. "Pontan" is survived by his two daughters, Melanie L. Aguillard and Priscilla L. Comeaux and her husband Joseph; two sisters, Sydney Belle Griffin and her husband Walter and Theresa Alexander; brother-in-law, Richard David and wife Jeanie; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Mae David LeJeune; his parents, Sidney and Theresa Babin LeJeune; a great grandson. He was an avid hunter and gardener. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery Fund.
