In loving memory to a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed.

You were loved and will be greatly missed. Visitation was at Wilbert Funeral Home in Port Allen on Wednesday, January 22, 2014, from 4 to 9 p.m., with religious service at 7 p.m. conducted by Rev. Danny LeBlanc. Cremation followed. Willie Floyd Sproles, 76, was born August 15, 1937, in Gilbert. He was a Corporal in the Marine Corps, retired from Realix Corp, and owner of the 4-Way Grocery and Willie's Bar in Bueche, LA. He passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014, after a lengthy illness at his daughter's home in Denham Springs. Willie is survived by his one son, Bobby Sproles; two daughters, Barbara "Gail" Cook and husband Bubba, and Melinda "Wendi" Watts and husband Bob; two brothers, Charles Sproles and Kildren Sproles and wife Rita; one sister, Margie Hatfield and husband Bill. Also survived by grandchildren, Darren Sproles, Willie Sproles Jr., Tabitha Cook, Jared Westberry, Ryan Hobbs, Robert "B.J" Sproles, Brittany Sproles and Robbie Watts; and numerous loving great-grandchildren. Willie was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Pearl Delaughter Sproles, parents, Jessie and Ollie Kennison Sproles; two brothers, Jessie Sproles Jr. and Michael "Mac" Sproles; grandsons, Jason Ingram, Brayden Watts and Wyatt Rok Sproles. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wilbert Funeral Home to defray the cost of the funeral.
