Jeanette passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Baton Rouge General Bluebonnet at the age of 74.

A resident of Port Allen and a native of Baton Rouge, she worked for the West Baton Rouge Parish Library and Dillon Catering. Visitation was at First Baptist Church of Addis on Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 5 to 9pm and resumed on Friday, January 24, 2014 from 9am until religious services at 10am, conducted by Pastor Tom Shepard. She is survived by husband of 53 ½ years William "Bill" G. Koenig; daughters, Yvette Kornrumpf and husband Bobby, and Tracy Hebert and husband Dean; sons, Michael Koenig and wife Heavenly, and Jason Koenig and wife Buffy; sisters, Sandy Hodges and husband Bobby; grandchildren, Kyle Kornrumpf and wife AJ, Kaci Tucker and husband Ronnie, Michalyn Milazzo and husband Rowland, Nicholas and Matthew Hebert, Cameron Koenig and wife Haley, Mason, Meghan, Monica, Austin and Philip Koenig; great grandchildren, Hope Koenig and Kinley Tucker. Preceded in death by her parents, Bertha and Alvin Artus Odom; and sisters, Alice Smith and Aline Faust. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. She was loved and will be deeply missed by relatives, friends and her beloved church family, where she served as the pianist for 18 years. She was a dedicated wife and mother and was known for her feisty spirit and quick wit.
