HFS cheerleaders bring home awards, receive superior recognition

Holy Family 7/8th & 5/6th grade cheerleaders attended the UCA Cheerleading Camp at St. George School July 24-25.

The squad received superior recognition for their extreme routine and sideline performances. 

The 7/8th grade received a perseverance trophy, and 5/6th grade received a high spirit trophy for their efforts at camp and brought home two spirit sticks. 

Delaney Langlois was selected as an All-American cheerleader and invited to perform in the Houston Thanksgiving Day parade. Holy Family cheerleaders also received the coveted UCA Spirit Award called “The Top Banana” which is the highest award at camp for outstanding school spirit, teamwork, and best representation of a cheerleading squad.

The HFS squads were also asked to participate in the pregame show of the Capitol One Bowl Jan 1, 2016
