The Brusly High School baseball team enters post-season action next week, while Port Allen’s season came to an end Monday.
The Panthers topped Runnels 4-1 to close the regular season, while Port Allen defeated Pointe Coupee Central 14-1 in its season finale.
Brusly was ranked ninth in the LHSAA power rankings released last week, but the revised standings could nudge them either direction.
The current standing would pit the Panthers against Rayne, from District 5-3A.
