Port Allen’s Senior Nick Parker scored 22 points in Thursday’s win over Catholic High, but more than the win, it’s Parker’s milestone that will be celebrated.

Parker scored his 2,000th career point during Thursday’s game against Catholic High School, a feat very few have achieved at Port Allen.

At halftime, Port Allen led 25-18, and went on to soundly defeat the Bears 59-47.

Nick Parker led the team with a total of 22 points for the Pelicans and 6’7” junior center Ishmael Lane tacked on 16 more.

Parker is currently on MaxPreps’ list of Class of 2014 100 players to watch and has not yet chosen a college to attend.

A ceremony will be held December 10th before the game against Christian Life to celebrate Parker’s milestone of 2,000 points.
