Brusly High School’s Kwanston Adkins, two-sport standout, signed a baseball scholarship offer on Tuesday, November 19, to attend Northwestern State University.
Adkins, Panthers outfielder, garnered accolades as a junior last year with Brusly, earning Class 3A all-district and all-state honors.
“Kwanston is a great kid and a great baseball player,” said Brusly Baseball Head Coach Tait Dupont. “He does very well in the classroom and he does everything you ask of him as a baseball player.”
Dupont said he’s excited to see the strides Adkins has made as an athlete in the year, as the NSU signee is entering his senior season with Brusly High.
“I’m looking forward to seeing how he’s going to do his senior year, because he’s bigger, faster and stronger,” Dupont said.
