Parkview Baptist seemed ripe for defeat in the first quarter of action against the Brusly Lady Panthers, but it did not take long to change that as the Lady Eagles took a 10-point victory from Brusly at Parkview Friday night.

A 22-point rally in the second quarter helped Parkview deflate Brusly’s quest for their first district win Friday.

Brusly built a 12-5 lead in the first quarter, but trailed 27-19 by the end of the half.

The Lady Panthers matched Parkview’s 15-point output in the third quarter, while the Lady Eagles outscored BHS by one goal in the fourth.

Sara Goodwin propelled the Lady Eagles with 25 points.

Madison LaPrairie led Brusly with 14 points, while Shandrieka Pierson had 12.
