BHS volleyball head coach heads to Livonia

BHStoLivonia-editedKaren Wooley decided after 18 years as Brusly High’s head volleyball coach that she needed to seek new pastures.

Wooley announced Monday 18 she will leave Brusly to oversee the Livonia High School volleyball program.

“This is a chance to seek knew avenues,” she said.

The Brusly High softball team may have come up short in their quest to win state this year, but the team was honored for their individual achievements as eight of their nine starters were named to the District 7-3A All-District team.

What looked like an imminent win for the Brusly baseball team heading into the seventh inning last Tuesday, May 5, quickly spiraled out of control for the Panthers baseball, as North Vermillion High School’s Patriots came back to score five runs in the seventh and eighth innings to take the second round playoff win and end Brusly’s 2015 season.
