Brusly boys sweep Houma tourney

HOUMA - Last week Brusly head baseball coach Tait Dupont said that for his team to win, they needed the “clutch” hits. 

Dupont got what he wished for over the weekend, when a combination of clutch hits and ace pitching earned the Panthers decisive victories in all four of their games played in the Pat Parra Tournament hosted by Vandebilt Catholic High School in Houma.


Parker aims to add quality to quantity

The Port Allen boys track team heads into the 2015 season with all the depth it needs.

But for all of its quantity, the team needs more quality, head coach Leonard Parker said.

The Pelicans head into their first meet Friday when they compete in the Zachary Invitational at West Feliciana High School.
