Williams named MVP in All-District volleyball

Brusly junior Caitlyn Williams won the top honor on the 2015 Division III District 5 All-District roster, selected by coaches in the district.

Williams, a middle blocker for the 2015 district champion Lady Panthers, was named the District Most Valuable Player for the season.

Once again, the Brusly High swim team showed that they were a force to be reckoned with  when they brought home numerous top awards at the LHSAA Championship Swim meet held at SPAR Aquatic Center on Thursday, November 19.

Brusly Bombers win Championship

The Brusly Bombers, an 8-U youth baseball team won the Louisiana Fall Grand Slam State Championship in Hammond on Nov. 15. The team defeated the Louisiana Astros of Loranger, 9-8, after going into an extra inning in the championship game.  As a result of the win, the team earned a paid berth to the Grand Slam World Series, whcih will be held this summer in Panama City Beach, Florida.
