Holy Family 5/6th grade cheerleading squad attended the UCA cheer camp over the summer at St. George and were invited to perform at the Buffalo Wild Wing Citrus Bowl Pregame show in Orlando, FL on January 1, 2015. They were invited for receiving all Superior ribbons at camp. They were one of very few Junior High squads that were invited. Not all of the girls were able to attend the trip to Orlando. Along with this high invitation honor, they also won the coveted UCA Spirit Award “The Banana” on the first day of cheer camp, which is the highest award at camp for outstanding school spirit, teamwork, and best representation of a cheerleading squad. On the second day of camp Holy Family won “The Banana” again and was able to take it home for the school trophy case. Along with this honorable award, this squad also received a High SPIRIT trophy for their efforts during the entire camp.

The girls were able to enjoy several days at Disneyworld as part of their trip. They made many new friends and many lifetime memories!
