The City of Port Allen hosted Live on the Levee at the Old Ferry Landing Park in Downtown Port Allen on Friday, April 13. Residents brought lawn chairs and dancing shoes to watch the sunset to the sounds of Geno Delafose and French Rockin Boogie. Attendees enjoyed hot dogs, hamburgers and cold beer. The event was sponsored by Tonya Lurry, candidate for Division B judge, PEC Engineering, and Fire Tech Sales and Service. The next Live at the Levee event will be on Friday, April 20 and feature music from Don Rich.
