The West Baton Rouge Library Presents a Hampstead Stage Company performance of “The Jungle Book” Tuesday, July 16 at 10:00 a.m. at the Port Allen Community Center. The Hampstead Stage Company is a national educational touring company focused on bringing classic literature to life! This summer the Company performs Rudyard Kipling’s novel, The Jungle Book.

Mowgli, an abandoned “man cub” raised by wolves, embarks on an adventure through the jungle. Along the way he befriends a bear and a black panther but must escape from a python and defeat a tiger. It’s a tale of good versus evil. This performance is funded by a grant from the West Baton Rouge Department of Parks and Recreation.
