The Krewe of Good Friends of the Oaks, after having been delayed by two hours because of the heavy thunderstorms, rolled in on the corner of the LA-1 Service Rd. and Oaks Ave on Sunday. Meanwhile in Brusly, the Ladies of Pearls parade was also in full force for 3 p.m. while parade-goers were dressed in panchos. The West Side collectively "laissez le bon temps rouler!" — rain or shine.
