Cindy Marie Denham gained her angel wings on June 5, 2018 at the age of 61. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends whose lives Cindy had touched in some way throughout her life. She was a resident of Baton Rouge, La and a native of Brusly, La. She graduated from LSU with a degree in Interior Design. While she enjoyed art her true passion was in the legal field where she worked for many years as a paralegal. She was also very involved in politics and worked tirelessly on many campaigns. Above all else she enjoyed spending time with her daughter, son in law, and three grandchildren. She served on the board of the Baton Rouge Art Gallery, was a member of the East Baton Rouge Parish Republican Women, and was an avid AFP activist. She is survived by her daughter Rachelle and son-in-law Brandon Lyons, grandchildren Maddison Sanders, Hayden and Berkley Lyons, brother Oscar Bryan Denham, and nephew Oscar Riley Denham. Special thanks to the staff at Baton Rouge General, Pennington Cancer Center, and The Crossing who provided such compassionate care. We will be forever grateful. Please join us for a Celebration of Life Memorial on Saturday, June 23rd, 2018 at 6 p.m. at the Baton Rouge Art Gallery at BREC City Park, 1515 Dalrymple Dr.
